Hi! I'm 25 years old - I'm from Ireland but I moved to Melbourne about 18 months ago. I've travelled around Europe and parts of America but I've decided to take my travels south of the equator! I work as a quantitative researcher as well as doing a PhD in economics (I'm a sucker for punishment!) I'm interested in finding out the reasons why poor countries remain under-developed despite receiving a vast amount of foreign aid. In my spare time I play tennis, soccer and boxing. As much as I enjoy being active, I do enjoy an evening on the couch every once in a while, watching a movie or a tv show. I'm currently watching: Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, The Big Bang Theory. My favourite movies are 'One flew over the Cuckoo's nest', 'The King of Comedy' and 'The Prestige'.

What I'm looking for: I don't really have a type. Personality and 'sense of humour' are the qualities I admire most. If you're pro-active and like to try new things - find sarcasm a good form of humour, I imagine we wont have too much difficulty having a conversation.

Dislike: Slow walkers - 'text message' talk (e.g. Wan2 go 4 coffee sumtime? No!) - Myki - being penalised for Jaywalking.
