Short Smart vs Whatever Foremost, I am a gentleman in the truest sense of the word.I am very respectful at all times, especially of women. Not only am I a gentleman, but also a very gentle man. You can get a semblance if this by viewing my posted photos.

I profess to be affectionate and caring, compassionate and absolutely faithful and loyal, sincere and honest, and many other desirable attributes, too numerable to mention. Attributes, as desirable as they may seem, are not the complete story because, more importantly, it is the quality of the trait that really counts. Fidelity that does not endure beyond the courtship conquest of an unscrupulous cad is worthless, because it has no tenure.

My too many positives, however, tend to cause me to unrealistically seek a life partner with unobtainable traits. Finding such a lady with these attributes would be tantamount to finding a female clone of myself, and this is highly improbable. Yet, hope springs eternal and I am a consummate optimist. However; if providence beckons and I am blessed, perhaps the very special lady I seek is reading this right now

Divorced from an only marriage (28 years) which thankfully occurred after the children left the nest, I am now involved with a long time companion who is seriously ill and homebound, for whom I have been graciously and gratuitously caring for practically 24/7 for about ten years. Recently retired family members have been slowly taking the reigns from me, so now is a propitious time for me to cash in the chips I have so assiduously accumulated for my lifetime of sacrifices, and enjoy the fruits thereof, which I so richly deserve, and have postponed for much too long.

I sincerely hope and pray that I among my rewards will be the very special lady I now seek to complement and complete my life with a great deal of reciprocal affection. My hope and prayer is that we will be so compatible as forever soul mates, as to be able to fully and happily enjoy our golden years together.
